Austin R. Vernier
Attorney
An Oklahoma City native, Austin Vernier is a graduate of Oklahoma City University School of Law where he served as Resource Editor for the Oklahoma City University Law Review. Austin published a Comment on Oklahoma’s worker’s compensation system, as well as a Note discussing the current state of Separation of Powers within the federal government. While in law school, Austin earned CALI Excellence Awards for scoring the highest grades in his class in Criminal Pre-trial litigation and Public Health Law.
Austin gained valuable experience as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Perry Hudson of the Oklahoma County District Court. Austin was a Fellow in the Judge Alfred P. Murrah Center for Homeland Security Law and Policy and also received a certificate in Homeland Security from OCU Law. Austin is a Plan Attorney for the FOP Legal Defense Plan and the Oklahoma FOP Legal Defense Plan. He is also a Certified Force Science® Analyst.
Austin is an adjunct professor at Southern Nazarene University where he teaches business law. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a minor in History, and a Master’s in Business Administration in Healthcare from Southern Nazarene University. In his free time, he enjoys playing trombone and visiting America’s National Park System.
